Welcome to 700 Cycling Club

Welcome to 700 Cycling Club, based in Windsor

Are you looking for a local cycling club that enables you to be active, meet other people to ride with and improve your cycling?

Then 700CC could be for you!

We are a welcoming club that simply loves riding our bikes. Our focus is on social cycling with differently paced groups for all abilities. We are affiliated with British Cycling so if you are interested in competition, we can accommodate that too!

Why join us?

We cater for a range of abilities, experience and age (over 18). We offer road and gravel rides, and occasionally MTB.

To join, we recommend having a road bike – E-bikes, flat pedals and/or baskets welcome! If you have any concerns about your equipment, email us, or come along and other members can advise you.

We run rides to suit different ability levels, and all our rides are ‘no drop’ which means nobody will be left riding solo.

Our club ride takes place on Saturday morning at 08:50 from Alexandra Gardens. The ride is usually between 40-60k, and we split into 2-3 different paced groups. After (or during longer rides) all riders reconvene for coffee and cake, often at Cinnamon Café in Windsor – where we get 10% off for being lycra-clad!

How to get involved

We organise an ‘intro ride’ on the second Saturday of the month, when we welcome prospective members to the club.  The ride is approximately 50km and is led by one of our experienced members.

Email us at info@700cc.org to let us know if you’d like to come along.

You can join us for up to 3 rides without becoming an official member so that you can decide if the club is the right fit for you.

See our Membership tab for further details.

We started shop rides from the 700 shop in Windsor, simply to encourage people to ride their bikes and meet like-minded people. Over the years the club has evolved and while still closely connected to the shop and its values is very much independent from it in how it is operated drawing its direction from its membership.

In order to maintain our high standards and ensure the experience riders have come to expect and enjoy, as well as to safeguard our riders, it made sense for us to affiliate with British Cycling as a road cycling club. In addition, some wish to race and we can now offer you support in pursuit of that goal too!

Why become a member of 700cc?

We have numerous groups of varying pace to suit all levels of rider. We ride out on Saturdays and Sundays and you can enjoy the rides as a social morning out with your cycling buddies or test yourself in faster groups. See how the legs feel on the day.

As a 1st claim member you will receive:
